Summer in Safari Shorts
When we were putting together a list of pieces we wanted to make for our first capsule collection, we knew we had to include a pair of shorts. We were adamant on making a pair of well designed and aesthetically appealing shorts which were at the same time unique, eye-catching and extremely wearable.
Enter the S011 Safari Shorts.
Our Safari Shorts originally came in to action as part of the Australian Army uniform during the Second World War, and continued to be a standard issue for soldiers well into the 1950’s and beyond.
Designed with a high waist, double forward pleats and a wide cut leg to allow for ultimate comfort and manoeuvrability, the S011 Safari Shorts are perfect for both Hiking in the Dandenong Ranges and brunching in Camberwell.
The S011 Safari Shorts feature a button fly closure (4 buttons, to be exact), two back patch pockets allowing the wearer to fit just the necessities (phone, wallet, keys) and a double slide glide closure on the front of the waistband.
An Ode to Australian History: Made in durable British 100% Cotton Twill and made locally in Melbourne (Perhaps as the originals were 80 years ago), our S011 Safari Shorts are rugged, rakish and ready to take a beating in your wardrobe this Summer.
